Free DC HIV Screenings
WASHINGTON - WHAT:
Giant Food, in partnership with the Whitman-Walker Clinic, is offering free HIV screenings at four Giant stores in Washington, D.C. over the next several weeks.
WHY:
The D.C. Department of Healths HIV/AIDS Administration has confirmed that three percent of the adult population in the District of Columbia is living with HIV. Giant Food is offering these free screenings as part of its commitment to the health and wellness of the community it serves.
WHEN & WHERE: All screenings will be held on Friday evenings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
