Nas Responds To Kelis Allegations In Divorce Case

As his less-than-amicable divorce from singer Kelis rages on, rapper Nas has disclosed his earnings and expenses to support the fact that his financial state is not quite what his estranged wife believes it is.

According to TMZ.com, the Queensbridge native reports that while Kelis’ divorce petition indicated that he had received $11 million for his deal with Def Jam in 2006, he in fact only received close to $4 million.

Since then, he says, his monthly income has decreased to $147, 165. Nas’ monthly expenses, on the other hand, currently total $71, 371.96, including $10,000 on his personal grooming alone, clothing and toiletries included.

Almost a month ago, Kelis made a similar disclosure, telling the courts that since her separation from Nas in November of last year, her average monthly income had decreased to $21, 616, almost $60,000 less than her projected expenses, once she gives birth to the child she is expecting with her ex.

The “Milkshake” songbird requested that a judge order Nas to pay all pregnancy-related expenses, half of all medical expenses after the baby is born, child support, and spousal support to maintain the life she lead while married. “My survival is based on [his] will at this time,” Kelis said. “If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid.”

Though Kelis claims Nas has not offered any support since their separation, Nas told the judge that has agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling, and $1,598 for two cribs.

He also indicated that he’d be willing to pay $5,000 a month in child support, which he called a “reasonable amount.” He went on to say that he wants to be “fully involved” with raising his second child.

Teen Girl Falls In Open Manhole While Texting!

It’s hard to decide who are the biggest morons in this story: parents or daughter. 15 year-old Alexa Longueira was walking along Victory Boulevard in Staten Island when she fell into an open manhole.

Why didn’t she see it? You’re ahead of me here. She was too intent on tapping out a text message to notice the gaping gap in the sidewalk and just dropped straight on in. Idiotic, yes, but now Alexa’s parents are trying to blame someone else for their daughter’s stupidity while making a little money into the bargain. They’re suing the city.

I’m all for punishing people who walk the streets staring into the tiny screens of their cells. They’re a danger to cyclists, for one, and at the very best they’re an annoyance to normal pedestrians, the kind who actually look where they’re walking. That Alexa’s parents are not doing anything to teach her a lesson but instead are blaming city workers is quite ridiculous.

In this case, though, it appears that the girl isn’t so dumb. Here’s the erudite sentence she gave of the Department of Environmental Protection workmen’s apology after they helped her out of the hole: “They were just, like, ‘I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

And yes, her parents are also witty masters of the English language. The mother, Kim Longueira, speaking to MSNBC: “Oh my God, it was putrid. One of her sneakers is still down there”

Multiple sources deeply connected to the births tell us Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbie’s eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris.

In the case of Prince Michael II (the youngest), we’re told the surrogate was never told of the identity of the “receiving parent” — Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson’s lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael.

Perez Hilton and will.I.Am beefing

Celebrity gossip columnist Perez Hilton is accusing Black Eyed Peas emcee will.I.Am and his security team of handing him a bloody beating earlier today (June 22). Around 3AM, Hilton began sending frantic messages across Twitter that will.I.Am and his entourage had accosted him outside of Toronto’s SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.

“I was assaulted by will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas and his security guards,” stated Hilton on his Twitter page. “I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”

Later, Hilton updated his page by explaining he gave a report to local authorities, and would leave remaining statements to his lawyer. However, the columnist had one last message for will.I.Am.

“There are multiple witnesses,” Hilton posted on Will’s Twitter. “You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth.”

The Peas frontman did not even have a Twitter account before the incident, but created one to counteract Hilton’s viral campaign against him. Additionally, will.I.Am released a video interview explaining his side of the altercation.

“I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one the called me a faggot outside the club,” he detailed. “I hit you, Perez? C’mon dude, I didn’t hit you. I told you that I didn’t like that you disrespected us. It’s cool to have your opinion. Apparently you were bleeding outside the club and I was standing right next to you by a tree, waiting for my car. Instead of calling the police, you Twitted that I assaulted you? [It] sounds like someone wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health….Shame on you, and shame on your behavior.”

Both parties were in Toronto to participate in the Much Music Awards. Hilton presented, while the Black Eyed Peas performed their hit single “Boom Boom Pow.” At press time, Will.I.Am has not been charged with any crime.

Poor Gabrielle Union is about to go broke. In addition to being labeled the industry bicycle due to her rumored exploits with married men, she’s now claiming to be under attack by urban blogs. Mind you, no one would be talking about Gabby at all if it weren’t for these same blogs ‘attacking’ her.

Anyway, Gabrielle followed the advice of some legal goon who convinced her that she could win a defamation case against a certain blog that she claims slandered her good name. The only problem is that blogs, like all media, are protected under the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Additionally, Gabby is a public figure who is considered to be “incapable of further defamation” — meaning that her reputation (as the aforementioned industry bicycle) is so poor that defaming her can do no further damage to her reputation (yes, the law actually recognizes people like that).
