Over 300 albums and mixtapes have been released this year from the DMV [DC/Maryland/Virginia] urban music artists. Needless to say, WORK has been put in, and the numbers are a stone cold reminder.
In honor of this year’s work, “Law of the Few” record pool will be held at 12 Lounge in DC, on December 9, 2010. Doors open at 6pm, and kick off with a New Music Listening Session by DJ J-$crilla. Following the listening session, get a... sneak peak of the hottest new music, presented by the area’s most prominent DJs and producers, during the “DJ Co-Sign” hour.
Hosted by Dre “All Day” and presented by Harmony Muzik. Live performances by Phil Adé, Wordsmith, Fat Trel, Uptown XO, Bear Witnez, Frayz, Tese Fever, K-Beta, Jay Mills, Lyriciss, Harmony Muzik, Pro’verb, and Her RhawNess “Law of the Few: Vol. 1- DMV Edition” will be available for all event participants.[or until we run out]
All of this could not be possible without the tight-knit network of producers, DJs, engineers, managers, promoters, bloggers, and various other members of the music community keeping the dream alive and vibrant. Please join us for a night of excellence and accomplishment.
-Local businesses interested in capitalizing on their target audience at the record pool should contact Harmony Muzik about sponsorship opportunities and product placement.
